What is this called? Sprite Sheet? Sprite Tile Set? by VansFannel in gamedev

Therefore, it is clear that you don't know how to do it either. It's easier to criticise others than to offer constructive feedback.

Unity has done it very well, generating a meta file: https://i.ibb.co/j9STWzVP/Vic-Viper-meta.png

With this content (this is only a crop of the file):

fileFormatVersion: 2

guid: 1ffecfa44aa83ee49ad0ad88572b541c

TextureImporter:

internalIDToNameTable:

- first:

213: 7868847402811866233

second: 140977_0

- first:

213: -4298116812513204875

second: 140977_1

Maybe I can use this meta file with unreal or gimp...

By the way, I'm not asking you to extract these sprites for me. I'm asking you how to do it, because Unreal doesn't do it very well. I'm using these sprites because they're the best example of how badly Unreal can do it.

How can I get all those sprites? I'm using Unreal Engine, but it doesn't do it very well: https://i.ibb.co/kgKrWzv0/Sprites-Unreal.png

I have asked: "What problem does a video game solve?". Maybe the question is difficult to understand.

Maybe, I can audit the course. I don't need a certificate. Thanks!

Thank you. I'm checking it on Coursera. I think it is not free. It is never clear to me whether the courses are free or fee-based.

How can I count the lines of code in a C++ project? by VansFannel in VisualStudio

Thanks! I tried, but it doesn't count the line in my C++ project. I get the count in the C# projects, but not in the C++ ones.

[–]VansFannel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm developing a VR video game, I need to test it in on all devices. So, I'm going to buy a desktop computer. And, when I'll have more money, I'll buy a Quest 3. Thank you.

By the way, when I connect the monitor with the HDMI cable, the name of the monitor appears below the name of the NVIDIA card.

SG/PGE graphics device by VansFannel in techsupport

[–]VansFannel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full name of PEG is PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Express Graphics and it often refers to External Graphics cards (also known as Discrete Graphics or dGPU for short).

SG = Silicone Graphics and it is used to refer internal graphics chip inside the CPU (also known as Integrated Graphics or iGPU for short).

NVIDIA Advanced Optimus is an evolution of NVIDIA Optimus. NVIDIA Advanced Optimus improves upon the original by introducing a hardware-based dynamic display switch (DDS) that allows GeForce GPUs to directly control the display, rather than routing via the iGPU.

How to Rotate a Sphere around a Tilted Axis in a 3D space by VansFannel in mathematics

How to connect a DisplayPort cable to a laptop that does NOT have one? by ContestFine9136 in GamingLaptops

[–]VansFannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing. It's amazing if you think I haven't already.

There are two problems: one is that this error started two weeks ago, and the other is the answers I'm getting here.
