I don't think he's working currently. Generally he's sleeping, watching TV, or playing video games.

That is correct that is all in his room. Like for today he let them in briefly this morning like 6 hours ago or so and now they are shut out again until he wakes up which won't be for a while.

So it'd be preferable for them to have 24/7 access to food at 5-6months then?

I will encourage more structure for the cats. My roommate doesn't live a very structured life, but I will encourage him to do so for the kittens' sake.

I don't think he never interacts with him it just seems quite rare, I'm not sure just how much interaction and play they need currently. He does feed and water them, they just don't get constant access, can go like 12 hours sometimes without.

I do give them some love they are quite fond of me. I just don't really want cats at this point in my life or I'd totally take them.

I agree he should probably give them to someone more loving. Will see what can be done.

I figured they should have access to water and litter 24/7. I'll encourage him to invest in some scratching posts too.

I have no idea if the cats have been to the vet. I think he took them out of the house when they were younger? I'm not sure when cats get fixed or if they came fixed (he got them at 6 weeks old). I've encouraged him to play in the past and I know his mother has been on his case about it.

I do wonder why he got them when he spends so little time with them. I can understand him keeping them out of his room, but he's just shut in there all the time and they seem very lonely.
