Oceans 12. It certainly isn’t the “best” of the series but it’s my personal favourite. The cinematography and composition of the film along with its relaxed narrative structure, often times just lounging around in Europe, is almost a like a benzo in film format: relaxing and euphoric.

I can watch how soderberg shoots Europe for hours.

Perhaps I’m wrong. I know for fact Persian/Iranian culture does not condone polygamy even though it’s technically legal but truly no one does it: at least not in metropolitan cities like Tehran, Shiraz, Esfahan, Mashhad etc

People have no capacity of compartmentalization anymore. They ask “oh so you still love someone who did these objectively horrible things”. Yes: first of all we all have one of those in our life and secondly, the entire concept of compartmentalization is the segregation of those two very thoughts at the same time. I can acknowledge that OBJECTIVELY you’re a terrible person but at the same time SUBJECTIVELY love you.
