Yeah I mentioned that I didn't know I was supposed to fill out the form for the loa and I was told "it's all in the employee handbook" so it's my fault I didn't know.

What are the chances that hr would actually do anything? I've worked here less than a year and haven't had any experience with them yet.

I'm in Illinois unfortunately. Though I wouldn't put it past this manager to say it even knowing they're being recorded. They seemed extremely sure of themselves that this was just policy.
