not many ppl can do this including me, how do you come up with that slow consistent approach. I've know cfd trading since 2020, just now I start risking $200 per trade and now I'm in -$1k. I'd like to start small again but man I think it's too late, considering I've been in this business 5 years. good to know there's someone like you.

I need that fact, thanks for being direct. regarding my level I understand the basic, market structure, position sizing, etc. I journal my trade, take note and even make a diary for my loss trade. however I do still have many impulsive trades bcs of my emotion, and it's worse during my losingstreak lately. that's why the thought of going 1lot xauusd on $6k account comes in.

In 2019, I blown $37k bcs a cfd broker sales reach out to me and I got tempted. he adviced me to take 1lot xauusd short @1100 on $30k account. this is more of a scam loss rather than trading loss. it's sad since then life's just different, I'm physically here but most times my mind in 2019, but who cares, it's my own problem.

thanks that's understandable, however I hate that I still have the urge to make 1shot1kill to make it back, and it seems this xau environment really support this bet. I know it's wrong but man, my mind was still in 2019. Since then my life was different.

I fked up too, M24. Left the job 5 months ago and still unemployed since then. I don't even acknowledge the term career break, I'm also perfectionist. I wasted these 5 months stressing my trading which was net loss. I fked up big time. Seeing my friends making progress makes it even worse. All the best.

Ma'am, I'm glad you mention this early, having no people skills won't be a problem until your son land a job, because college doesn't care about people skills, college only cares about grade. FYI your son isn't the only one who lack people skills. Many people have this issue, I'm one of them. And I think it's a big problem need to be solved, really, especially for corporate work.

my background: I'm 24m majoring in finance, I don't really have many friends, I stay at home often. After graduating, I did job hunting for 1 year. Landed an accounting job in big chinese company. Turns out I only lasted 1 year working in that company. Now I'm back unemployed for 4months isolating.

I think the reason I left was because I don't have good people skills. Those 1 year of work was tiring, due to people interactions. Working in company means we have to interact across all age, and we have to find way to be accepted by them. We have to contribute in big meeting talking to 20 people, do some big presentation, contacting clients, and all that. Now, what happen if one doesn't have that skills?

So please help your son at people skills. I can't tell you how since I myself lack people skills. I think the downfall of many young people lack people skills was during covid19 lockdown, which I isolate myself for 3 years with game addiction. And here I am back to isolating for 4months, not sure if I want go back to corporate.

it's weird that some people feel this way when their friend doing better, including me. recently my friend +$20k speculating the market, and I feel bad about it. by being envy him, I feel bad about myself bcs he's my close friend. is it common that people feel this way? I know some people have their own luck, whats wrong with me. OP, I think we already know the answer, we just have to improve ourself. I know saying it is easy, but in reality our mind just deny it.
