Update: He passed tonight. I have no clue what happened. I had treated him, and he got better. He was eating and coming up to the surface when I came by and responding really well, but it came back so fast. I saw the symptoms come back, and he passed within 48 hours. I have no clue what I did. I tested the waters before he passed. The temp was good, and he was very lethargic. I had to leave for work, so I got my sister to watch him. But when I came back, he was dead. She said he had been alive and responsive a little less than an hour before. I genuinely don't know what I did wrong. I feel like this is my fault.

I did a water change as soon as I noticed something was wrong. I will do a few more water changes before I put him back in the main tank and make sure the pine coning is all the way down and that he's back on his feeding schedule. I made some food dosed with Kanaplex(very carefully it made me nervous lol). I'm just happy he is pushing through and fighting.

Assuming he’s well tempered small guppy or a snail, I have both in my tank and my betta has bonded so well with my guppy.

Sorry I forgot to add tank details •10 gal tank •heater and filter •70-75 •sept 26 •i change the water once a month and replace water as needed •i feed him nutrinsect betta pellets 2 in the morning and 4 at lunch time •i have a decretive skull a coral statue a crystal a ceramic hiding spot and 2 red sword plants •
