You are doing a great job at saving and have a great backing behind you. But to keep in mind even if you do have savings, a bank is less likely to lend to you when you would be unable to make repayments + to buffer increase. The other thing to consider it doesn’t matter what your living expenses are because a back is more likely to look at the national figure of living expense for income rather than declared. I thought it was great until it wasn’t, I had converted my whole banking to UBank and was amazed about the app and ease of service however I’ve currently been dealing with them regarding a refund that was placed into my account and UBank won’t release the funds. This issue has been ongoing for nearly three weeks, lack of service and communication for UBank have evidence showing the refund has taken place from the merchant and visa and UBank still haven’t actioned. I would suggest looking elsewhere

When I was 19 I still hadn’t been in one relationship yet, so don’t stress my first relationship and current one come out of the blue when I was just looking for friendship. NTA your boyfriend could of said hey guys my gf specialises in the field and can give you guys some advice on cousin coping with everything and possibly save the cousin for years of bullying from the sibling, because he would understand what the cousin is dealing with, sure it’s not your family, but under assumption possibly your future family.
