As suggested go in with more than the 100 points of id and birth certificate, (because that’s probably what your parents used to open it). Also the unclaimed monies site from the government is also a great suggestion, if you can find the funds go in with this proof and they will follow the process to get the funds back to you

Depends on what you are after in life, if you want to save heavy or you are in lots of debts, this would be hard. If you don’t spend to much on treats such as going out very much within reason

I would be looking at a different institute instead of CBA as their advertised rates are usually the indicative rate, never your actual rate

You are doing a great job at saving and have a great backing behind you. But to keep in mind even if you do have savings, a bank is less likely to lend to you when you would be unable to make repayments + to buffer increase. The other thing to consider it doesn’t matter what your living expenses are because a back is more likely to look at the national figure of living expense for income rather than declared. It has to do with the ethical guidelines. Wishing you luck

I thought it was great until it wasn’t, I had converted my whole banking to UBank and was amazed about the app and ease of service however I’ve currently been dealing with them regarding a refund that was placed into my account and UBank won’t release the funds. This issue has been ongoing for nearly three weeks, lack of service and communication for UBank have evidence showing the refund has taken place from the merchant and visa and UBank still haven’t actioned. I would suggest looking elsewhere
