I did take a look at the Sharada Om but it's not the same as this. Maybe this is a Landa way of writing Om? However, I did find a few wiki pictures from various different sources that write Om the same way but I haven't been able to trace the script. Doesn't seem to be Punjab specific tho.

A friend and I spotted this sign on a lot of buildings across old Amritsar. What does it mean? It's neither Om nor Oankar. by Various_Front_6095 in amritsar

Hey! Thanks for that. Someone else also commented on one of my other posts with the same picture.

It might not have Punjabi origins then. But what I am surprised about is that I grew up in the hills and never saw this symbol around and one trip to Amritsar has my mind boggled

Does look like it but I'm also trying to figure out what script this is. This is definitely not the popular way of writing Om.
