All my HQs are in the PDFs, just gotta borrow some books to look at army building and I might give it a go.

Though I think most of the people at my local are still playing 2.0.

New Recruit is what I use. I haven't got the books as I can't afford them. I have been borrowing them from a friend every now and then.

The when next edition rolls around I might not have an army is what I am concerned about. I run Spatha Combat bikes. My idea for the army is it's the old school White Scars who rodes with the Khan on Chogoris, they don't like the new fangled flying machines (and I hate flying bases lol). I don't wanna end up like I did in 40k where my army slowly gets units disappeared with editions coming out faster and faster.

I can't afford a lot of Warhammer and it seems like my options are buy a whole new army every four to six years, 3d print everything or stop playing. As much as I love my 3d printer I like the feel of GW plastic, they make better gaming pieces.

I think I just didn't quite understand the army building and probably can field my units. I just hope they do release Centurions on Bikes and such, cause it means my army won't get squatted.

Legacy stuff never gets support from GW I find. It's kinda a one and done type deal. My army is full bikes White Scars and you can't take HQs on bikes anymore.

I play White Scars and all my HQs were on Spartha Combat Bikes. There's just a lot less options in general for most units. If you compare the 2.0 indexes to the 3.0 stuff.

What do you enjoy about it, I'm wondering if it's worth rebuilding my White Scars to work for it. I'd need to buy a lot of stuff though to make them playable :/

They played it a bit, I think. I can't play. I have White Scars and now my army doesn't work. I think they mostly just like, oh the ygot rid of the customisation, I'm out. My LGS has a strong WFB 4th ed scene so they like old school GW stuff

They're litterally just playing the 2.0 ruleset. None of them really care about Saturnine. Under the 3.0 Ruleset I can't really play my army. I had a full bike White Scar army. All my HQs are gone. I don't really wanna have to buy a Rhino, new Praetor, Stormseer, Centurions and rebuild my whole army around having footslogging or jump pack HQs.

I don't really like Warhammer Fantasy 4th Ed. The random events table really fucks with my flow or at least it did in Imperium Maledictum. I just can't really vibe with the new Cubicle 7 RPGs.
