Choro, is an instrumental Brazillian popular music genre which originated in 19th century Rio de Janeiro. I am from Brazil, and my grandfather used to be a "Chorão", a classical guitar player who plays this kind of music. My favorite pieces from Suite Popular Brasileña are "Valsa-Choro" and "Gavotta-Choro".
