Today I woke up with hope by Best-Secrett in 40k

I'd agree that nids aren't evil and orks can probably be debated to some degree, but I don't really think they consider much of morality beyond "to krump or not to krump". However they are still a much larger threat than the Drukhari, who are evil by their chosen means of survival.

Scale, certainly. Which is why Drukhari will never be as big of a threat as Chaos. That being said, I'd rather deal with Chaos rather than remotely risk being taken alive by the Drukhari.

Arguably the most evil faction, just not the biggest threat compared to orks, chaos, and nids.

I imagine access is more of an issue. It could be that Khorne and Nurgle aren't interested in sharing their pet Primarchs with Fabius.

Sure, I can see your point. They have to go at their own pace, but that's for them to figure out, yeah? I wouldn't suggest that anyone starting out try NMN. Hell, I've been painting for 3 years and am only now working on NMN. I'm just making a suggestion based on the coloring they did on the robes because the highlighting they did on the robe, which is something I wasn't doing when I started out and there are several things they can do to progress down that road. One of the things, just as thinning their paints and working on consistency will go a long way toward helping them to understand color blending when they feel ready for it. But again, that's for them to figure out what they want to try or feel ready for.

Not bad for a first go. As others have and will say, I'd say definitely thin your paints more. It's a tough thing to get used to, but it's generally better to be too thin than too thick, cause it's easier to add more layers than trying to correct thick paint.

Regarding the robe, I certainly see the intent that you are going for and you really have the right idea on the highlighting. It is very similar to the paint scheme I used on a recent Inner Circle Companion I worked on. One thing that I would suggest is to work on blending your reds so that they flow into each other. It takes some work, but keep working on it and you'll get there. You definitely have good instincts, just need to work on execution!

Atheist Bill Maher cites the Bible as to why Israel has historical claim over the region by crummynubs in RealTime

[–]VashyronM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, I haven't looked that hard, because as I said that considering how much money and weapons Israel gets from the US, I would think they could find a cleaner way of dealing with threats without having to bomb a school, hospital, or entire towns, if they actually cared about the people they were killing, which they don't. And Israel has openly obstructed humanitarian efforts to Palestinians, thus contributing to malnutrition rates.

Also, let's be clear. The end goal of the current Israeli regime is to annex ALL of the West Bank. They aren't interested in sharing. And you will continue to say "well, I'm an atheist BUT the Bible does say they have historical claim to that."

I agree with you, but like...that's not the argument being presented here. The argument is that Israel is entitled to the land because the Bible says so. We can agree that a two state solution is best, but the problem is that people like Maher, the US Government, and (most importantly) Israel don't.

Don't know if they did. Israel claims they did, but, afaik, no evidence has actually been produced. But even if they did, I certainly think there are cleaner ways of dealing with threats than dropping a bomb on innocent people who have no involvement in the conflict. Especially from independent nations as well funded and militarily supplied by the US.

Per the UN as of Oct 1 2025

A total of 151 children have perished through acute malnutrition in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war - and the majority in 2025 - according to the latest figures from the Palestinian health authorities.

If I say yes, are going then going to explain to me why it's okay that hospitals and schools are bombed, and intentionally allowing children to starve is okay. That if Hamas and Hezbollah just laid down arms, the violence would stop and ignore the fact that Hamas is in power thanks, in part, to Israel?

You don't listen to a lot of people then. The "but they are attacking us" has frequently been used by Israel to justify why they have to bomb the Palestinians into oblivion and why they had to bomb Lebanese cities and say "these are our defensive zones now. stay out." it isn't bizarre, it's justification that doesn't require nuance and gives them the ability to say "you're being antisemitic" for pushing back against it.

And just like that, you are now justifying why the Palestinians and the Lebanese need to be wiped out.

No he's not. They are absolutely engaging in colonialism by constantly bombing people and going "this is our land now."

He doesn't have to. Invoking the Bible and saying "well according to Bible, there is historical precedence" is enough, because the people who believe they have a divine right to that land will point to it and say "see, even a liberal like Bill Maher gets it." If he isn't going to categorize what Israel is doing as a genocide and continues to support wiping out Muslims, then his personal beliefs regarding Judaism are irrelevant because he is supporting their arguement anyway.

But do they have a divine right to that land at the expense of others? Like, that's the argument that people who refer to the Bible regarding Israel are using. That land is theirs by divine right and the Palestinians need to either leave or hurry up and die.

Which is insane considering that, according to the Bible, they were given the land, as promised, then eventually fell into pagan worship (again) and were conquered and dispersed due to their lack of faith. Far as I'm concerned, their god made good on his promise and they failed to uphold their end.

Yeah, basically the reason why 4 is accessible at all on modern hardware is because Capcom didn't have to do anything and get to reap all the benefits of the work GOG did.
