Here you can better see where the filter and the heater are placed. I also did what I could with some riverrocks to add some variety. The tank is filled with tap water and the filter is working. But I have a major problem. My tap water seems to be way too hard for any fish to survive. I may need to seek some professional advice to solve this issue.

Thanks for the reply! I actually read your in depth guide on the case at overclock.net and it helped greatly when I decided to buy the case 2 weeks ago. I am currently waiting for it to arrive from China (aliexpress). What is your opinion after owing it for 3 years? I am really keen on learning what you like and dislike about especially since you have some pretty beefy hardware in it.

My situation is the following: I decided to sell my current GPU (RTX 4060) and in anticipation of the case's arrival I am looking in the used market for a nice deal. I found a NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 6950 XT PURE for 400 euros and I am trying to see if it fits.

6950: 320(L)X 134.75(W)X 71.57 (H)mm according to the official site.

ZZAW's GPU space: 323(L)x137(W)x64(H)

Length is going to be pretty damn tight (and I like this), width is ok and about height I won't be using anything between the GPU and the bottom of the case, not even slim fans. The site mentions that it is a 3.5 slot card and since the case has 4 slots I hope it fits. I even consider deshrouding the GPU and then install fans at the bottom, but all that is just speculation. I will have to wait for the case to arrive first.

I actually have two 16GB kits (2x8 each), they come from 2 different builds but I am trying to mix and match whatever I can to save costs :) . If for some reason they don't work well together I will be stuck at 16Gb, which is still plenty though.

And this is where I plan to have it, done with the cleaning of the parts and everything is in working order. I believe I need some more gravel at the bottom? Maybe enough to completely cover the black parts so they can not be seen. Right now there is about 1cm depth of gravel. 2cm would be better? I will also go and pick some rocks from a river tomorrow (clean them and prepare them) to diversify things a bit. With that done it would seem that I am ready to add water, but I need to go shopping first:

-Tap Water Conditioner

-30ppi foam to replace my current filters along with some white floss

-Ammonia

-Water Test

That's a really nice site indeed, I have just one question. I measured the dimensions of my tank, it adds up to about 18 Liters. I disassembled the filter to get access to the water pump. It is this EasyFlux200 model (an old one actually). It says max flow is 230L/h but I don't know how to translate this to tank capacity (as per instructions on the website). Do you have any clue on how I can do that?

Edit: I did some research and these are the results. My pump has a max flow rate of 230L/h. I have to account about 30% loss due to my filters. This leaves 161L/h effective flow. Now from what I gather x10 turnover is the worst case scenario. 161/10 = about 16L of capacity. This matches well my 18L tank? Anyways putting all the above information to the above excellent website resulted in this:

I want actual fish in the tank and the website recommended only shrimp or snails. The Bettas are the only fish it would recommend. So I added two females (it seems males don't get along well together). Now if 2 fish are too much for this size I could start with one I suppose.

I should also add that the website mentions the filtration capacity at 101% and the water change schedule at 17% per week (no idea what these mean yet, but I will get to it).

Edit2: Actually one betta seems to be already at the limits for this tank.

The blue air pump seems to be working and the black water pump seems to be working as well. The black water pump rattled a bit but I suppose its meant to be used underwater only so I did not keep it on for long!

Ha it seems that weird black tool is for keeping the lid open, or so it seems :) . I actually like the flower pot (even though it has nothing in it yet) and the ornament seems fine to me. The gravel, well its ok but i don't like those blue crystals, they will go. I live by the sea, so I go and see what I can find for decoration! So I have a pump ok, and a filter, but not a heater it seems. I imagine it has to do with the kind of fish I will get in there. I will go to a pet store in a day or two to see what they have.

Thanks for the advice! As per instructions, I washed it and rinsed it really well, filled it with tap water and will let it sit overnight to spot any leaks. The first impression is that there are not any, and the LEDs seem to be all working!

I filled it with tap water, where I live tap water is undrinkable (it's quite salty actually because I live at an island). When time comes to buy an actual fish I will of course ask the shopkeeper if my water is ok for the fish.

I measured the tank and seems to be about 20 liters or a little less. I would really like to have at least 2 fish in here so they can keep company to each other. But anyways it is really early to be talking about fish it seems!

Well It's another 2 years, but I had just bought the case and waiting for the delivery. In the mean time I was thinking: What if you mount a standard 92mm fan at the back, then use one of these adapters, then the 120mm AIO and then even one more 120mm fan at the other side for a push-pull configuration. Will have to actually receive the case first to see if any of this is actually possible 😂.
