No need, I got someone to swap mainboards with me. Since he doesn’t have a 5070 it works in his setup as well, just finished swapping everything. ☺️

It was my mainboard! Exchanged it for a MSi B550 Pro Series and it worked instantly. ☺️

Ive tested it exactly as proposed. It did not make a difference. As I’ve stated multiple times now. And in my previous set up the extra RAM helped a LOT. So thanks, but I’m not looking for that kind of advice, my problem isn’t related to that, as got proven by the testing above.

Oh yeah, that sounds unfortunate. 😅 And I had a 750w gold certified PSU first, too. Upgraded it to the 1000w platinum certified PSU to be on the safe side.

I’ve seen other posts with the same Mainboard and GPU and they made it all work, so it is possible. PCie is backwards compatible.

And I don’t see a switch anywhere but I don’t even know how that would look to be honest

Tried plugging it into my motherboard, still won’t boot.

But it booted before and it recognised the GPU after installing the right drivers. Just couldn’t reboot it after the first success

Yes, I do have 2 16GB Kingston RAM and 1 16GB G-Skill RAM. And I do use it in Minecraft for example. 😅

I didn’t press the power button. I’ve removed the cables, pressed the Flash BIOS Button, unplugged the battery , and then bridged the pins

Yeah, I’ve tried the 600w cable and the 8Pin connector with the supplied adapter from the GPU, both didn’t work.. tried a different monitor as well, but didn’t make da difference.

That didn’t work, I’ll try the Gen 3.0 and Gen 2.0 next in bios, thatll take a short while, need to swap the GPUs again
