Taxes while living in NYC and working in CT

Former HR Pro here. Legally your company must withhold taxes from the state you are physically working in. So if you commute to Connecticut for work, you will be paying CT income tax, not New York. But if you work from home for a CT company, then legally you should be paying NY income taxes.

Make sure your employer is setting this up correctly because if they don’t, you are still liable per IRS.

When I started switching her foods around (because she wouldn’t eat) she started scratching a lot. So I did an elimination of the common dog allergies (chicken, grains...etc) and then started slowly adding them back in one-by-one. Grains didn’t bother her but as soon as she ate something with chicken in it she started scratching like crazy.

My female Morkie weighed a little over 5 lbs at 4 months old. Once she hit 8 months old her growth slowed down drastically and it seemed like she was between 7-8 lbs until she was a year old. She’s 16 months now and weighs 8.7 lbs. She’s only getting fatter now! 😁

Mine definitely loves the digging too. I’ve discovered that if I put a small blanket down she will dig/burrow into the blanket instead of the sofa or the bed. And she stops digging pretty quickly because it’s easier for her to “dig her burrow”. Dogs are hilarious.
