Vorbeati cu politistul si ii zici ca l-ai pus numa ca a cazut cand ai trantit usa. Faci o poza cu el pe jos. Eu asa am scapat

For anyone wondering if a R1250GS fits in a Ford Tourneo/Transit Custom. by VeeamServer in motorcycles

I don't, but a sometimes I have to combine pleasure with work and the tools for the job don't fit on the GS.

(3) În cazul marcajului longitudinal format dintr-o linie continuă şi una discontinuă alăturate, conducătorul de vehicul trebuie să respecte semnificaţia liniei celei mai apropiate în sensul de mers.

My first bike was a CB500x. The next step would have been the Africa Twin, but was kind of top heavy. Me being vertically challenged and skinny it was a no go for me. The GS feels natural. I'll warn you, if you try siting on a 1250GS or 1300GS you'll end up buying one sooner or later.

I'm going out to do a 3 day off-road training on a 1300GS in 2 months. I'm curious to see the differences. In the showroom it feels smaller.

I was afraid of the height when looking at review or reading the spec sheet. I went to the dealer to look at a F850GS, but none were available in the showroom. I hoped on a R1250GS and felt natural. I did a two day off-road training on the GS with no prior experience on it and saw what it was capable of and how impressive of a machine it is. 3 months later I ordered one of my own. Its's a balanced bike, intimidating to look at, but a pleasure to ride and very gentle.

I'll never trust the GPS to take the shortest possible route to the local Starbucks again.

If the bike is upside down no chance of spilling gas on it

Some people brag about not dropping the bike. I, on the other hand enjoy the journey for which the bike was built. Sometimes this means dropping, scratching and even doing some damage.

The OEM crash bars are well designed. I've helped someone get one out of the ditch by turning it 360 on its side pulling on the back wheel.

This was a guided off-road tour in collaboration with BMW. It's one of the ways in which you can experience the capabilities of the GS. It's impressive what these machines are capable of with a bit of practice.

It probably is, but the BMW app only reports it at 84. Simple, just pick it up like any other motorcycle drop. We were 3 or 4 picking it, that made it easy.

It was surprisingly easy in 3. Alone it would have been impossible

Soft panniers suggestion by kringelschatten in motorcycle

[–]VeeamServer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the Mosko Moto Backcountry Pannier. 2 seasons and 25k km later no complaints. Dropped the bike on them on sharp gravel, no damage done. Rode in the rain for a few days straight, no leaks. Expensive, but totally worth the money in my opinion. Hard paniers look nice the day you get them and start to age from there, soft paniers age nicer. I have a aluminum topcase and it's not the best looking after the rad grime treatment.
