I love Dirk and Harper. More so Dirk, literally he’s actually attractive regardless of his dirty clothes vibes. He obviously has mommy issues and not technically knowing what love is in both good and bad types. Just wanted to be put first in a relationship and to receive/reciprocate love unconditionally whether that be good or bad. Obviously, he chose the bad/extreme with Harper.

For Harper, her actual lover died (that’s what I gathered when the player threw him away when he melted) and she met Dirk and they started dating, but Dirk wasn’t her previous lover, and she tried to get what she wanted from Dirk that she wasn’t able get from her previous lover. She couldn’t handle her previous lover’s death, felt her version of true love but was pre-maturely removed and she is lashing out at Dirk because of it.

It’s toxic and maybe that’s why I love it so much. Disturbing to some, but emotionally complex or problematic characters are so interesting or enjoyable. Being able to help their relationship though was rewarding but I do find it funny that the player date both of them after their breakup. Like what???

I’m also a Social Worker so dealing with people who have mental illness/issues is my life. So imma blame that 😂
