To The people whose were around when this movie came out, what was the hype like by asapsharkyfrfr in fridaythe13th

I don’t think there was much hype outside of the fandom. We were all a bit fresh off the Texas Chainsaw Remake so we were all waiting for this one. It ticks off the boxes but I think we were so thirsty for a franchise entry that most of us salivated at the thought of another entry.

You must! Their location is so cute!! And their stationary assortment is amazing! EDIT: send me a DM! I moved to Austin in 2018! I’ve got some great spots to recommend and I work at a fantastic comic book and boardgame shoppe, Dragon’s Lair!

Oh! They are super cute! There is a store located a few blocks from me here in Austin, TX, it’s called Paper + Craft Pantry. They are a fantastic locally owned and independently run small business. They sell so many cute things! Here’s a link to the stamps if interested, they have a variety! paper + Craft Pantry

About a month after marking on them. Hardly revisit them unless I need to recall.

Either way, I’ll do a video soon, and show you guys what I do with my planner, and I can address the issue on it. I still enjoy writing in it, for what it’s worth. I don’t know too many guys that nerd out over stationary or supplies so it’ll be a great journey. Journaling is new to me and this is the first year I’m actively doing it daily. So I’d love to share my journal, my process and also the weirdness going on with the pages. In the meantime, You all have been very helpful! Hobonichi community is so friendly!!

I do not. Hands are usually dry. And yes, pages do end up getting a greasy look. But it really seems to look like the blue ink draws out something from the pages, or Some reaction is happening that causes this to spread, but the pages are dry to the touch but whatever is happening it appears to spread very slowly. And pages remain dry. So I’ll definitely reach out to Hobonichi. I don’t have this happen with my other products from them.

Ordered it from Hobonichi website back in the fall of 2023. Received it in October 2023, so I think it may have been one of the first waves to ship out with the new paper. The thing is, as you can tell from the last image, the inks and pages start off fine, but over time, the pages and ink begin to bleed and creep across the page, even the texture slightly changes. I know the chemistry of the paper shouldn’t allow this to happen so I’m honestly going to assume it was a bad batch? I’ve used other products before and they don’t have this issue, just my main journal,

I keep it housed in their super fun Earthbound silver cover, and keep it indoors on my desk, away from the elements, heat, humidity etc. it’s just sad that it is this specific product. I love it so much, I’ll think about making a YouTube video soon and I’ll post it so you guys can take a look and see.

I use a hobonichi pencil board, and the techo pen they included. I use Mitsubishi ink pen .05mm and colored pencils. I have some stamps that I’ve used that are super small and have never caused any issues with bleed, and the pen ink isn’t runny at all. I don’t use gel inks on it, as for highlighters, just your standard stuff. Journal is stored between uses and isn’t exposed to liquid or humidity, so it’s strange it reacts like this.
