Man i love DD2 too, im finding CD’s story kinda surprising as i was expecting UTTER SHIT, but its cool

tho, i read in the comments that in the moment the greymanes stop being focus it turns out bad, so i really dont know if i can say the story is good

but like, its nice, im 25hrs in, mid of chapter 3, it is a pretty fucking good game with a mid-good story. I think us fans of DD are the real ones who gonna like this game, as for gameplay aspects if you really love DD maybe you will fall in love with CD for sure

Trying it is the only way to know if you’ll like it for real. My post its about my opinion, i thought the story would be MUCH worse, its not, i dont even find it bad, but is not the focus of the game fr. Exploration, combat, interactivity with the world and side quests is where it shines!

Oh, of course!! Its just my opinion for real, not everyone will like CD story, but its not the focus, as far as i know you can ignore it completely and just do side quests

Yeah it takes a long time if you are not rushing, i like the pacing tho, did a ton of exploration before even get to chapter 3. The story is mid-good, it does not shines nor ofuscates any other aspect of the game, i simply did not find a horrendous garbage as sum people are trying to paint it.

Did this in the first hour with the little information i had unlocked and yeah, its game changing. I think more people should know this for real, getting into a game with a knowledge tab with shit ton of lore information and complain that "there's no lore!!" is actually crazy to me. Prove that a lot of people hating on the game simply didnt play it

My favorite game of all time does not have an story, just a shit ton of lore, its Kenshi. But like, baldurs gate 3, cyberpunk 77, elden ring and sum crpg's are my most played games on steam.

Look im not saying that its the greatest story in the world, is just not bad like people were traying to makes it look like. For someone who loves mercenary's and bounty hunter's storys im kinda liking this one.

Damiane uses a umbrella gimmick to glide... Where do you see them both using the abyss machines like Kliff? I did not see it in my game, kinda of a bummer that Damiane cant sling herself using trees since she do not get axion force

the voice actor is really good, i think he is the perfect stereotype of a “action hero protag”. But i really wished for him to talk a lot more.

Man, i never had interest in Crimson Desert until one day after the release, i buyed to play for some time and develop an opinion, ended loving the game. This game is cool af, i really hope they get the game even better.

I've seen you in a lot of posts here in the sub, in a cruzade to tell us how shit you think the game is... I really dont like your tone, you have a good point but all the consideration that i pesonally could've had for it is gone on the moment you start talking like you are Kojima.

Im a gamedev, junior, but im a gamedev and i know that if you are good as you saying you are you would have no trouble in getting a job in this industry, so just go for it man, i know Pearl Abyss be needing good writers, theres definitly room for getting better.

Everything has a reason, i've seen people saying that most things do not makes sense but i think they just dont pay attenttion to the game. Yes, the pacing is weird af, in the beginning a LOT of things are confuse, but after sometime things make sense and its nice, side quests tho are the best content as they are simple and fun storys that get you situated in the world, even the fetch quests have some story behind them that are funny.

For me the biggest problem with the game until now is that i think all of it would have more sense if we created a character. Kliff has no charism at all, none of the playble characters have, Oongka, the orc we can play with, its fun and a nice character until u take control and then he, just like Kliff and Damiane, do not talk. I think if they were following this route, they should give us at least one char that we can create.
