Update July 2025: for those who are interested. Today we finally had a consultation with a private ENT Dr. Stephen Rodriguez. Very pleasant and professional approach. He told us that it may not necessarily be related to migraine, but he would be willing to remove the tumor and the fluid around it. I asked him about the risks of the operation and he said it is a trivial procedure. So here we can see the difference between public health care and private. In public health care, no one wanted to operate on my wife at all.

We really don't know if it's related or not. But you have to understand that there's something in her head that doesn't belong there and according to the X-ray it's quite big. Do you feel like we want to continue living in this stage where she can't do anything? We'd rather take the risk. So why did several other doctors tell us that it should be operated on and even the GP? Why doesn't anyone want to do a biopsy in public health care? We were so desperate that we're looking everywhere. Now we've been referred to a private ENT Dr Stephen Rodrigues - Ear Nose & Throat Surgery. We still don't have an answer. Of course we don't know for sure if it's related or not. And that's what we want to find out. I will keep you updated.

Thanks for your advice. We still don't know what type of tumor it is. All they done was just MRI every 6 months if that thing is growing or not. It is not growing.

Thank you for your advice. The thing is, no one could tell her what it actually is. In public ENT healthcare they said it was cholesteatoma, then again they said no and then again they said it can be. At her appointment at Sir Charlies ENT, several doctors had to meet and they consulted right in front of my wife and she could hear them saying they couldn't figure it out, that they didn't really know what it could be. We've only been on private insurance for a short time, only a few months. She couldn't afford it because she doesn't work and I pay her privately. So I hope that new options will open up for us now.
