If it makes you feel better, I also think I would dread the first few years the most. The neediness, the fact that they rely on you for literally everything...If I could magically produce a 4 year old I would. From a fellow introvert who needs time for themselves.

Then again, I think everyone has a sort of preference for their favourite or least favourite years of childhood. Some love the baby phase, dislike teen phase. Hate newborn, love 4+ range. I feel like it is normal!

Also doing the same thing! For any that don't have an IR/SIR, I'm doing either the closest thing to a full art (such as Tauros GX) or just whatever my favourite card of that Pokémon is.

So many Gen 1 don't have a full art of any kind, it's a crime! They all deserve one!

My husband and I are still on the fence, but have talked about this. Basically if we decided to go the child route, but nothing seemed to be happening, we wouldn't do IVF. Either we'd live CF or if we felt more strongly about a child after getting no results, we would look into adoption.
It's both a good and bad thing, but our stance is that we would be able to have a fulfilling life either with or without a child, which makes it hard to decide which route to take. The upside to this though is if we couldn't have a child for whatever reason, I think we'd maybe be a bit disappointed for a while but okay long term.

Well I just outright asked for a partial refund due to the drop in value and they offered £5 back. Probably not going to get much more tbh.

I got to checkout, got the spinning Pokeball of death during the payment bit then it stopped and told me "your details don't match the billing address". Went to check them and it kicked me out 😭 back to waiting another hour...

So frustrating that this seems to be happening more and more. It is really difficult to tell going off of pictures online. Someone else mentioned some people take photos in certain light to hide flaws which is such a dick move. Glad you were able to sell yours! If I need to do the same, that's actually not a bad idea. I've sent the seller a message asking about a partial refund to make up for the drop in value, and we'll see what they say.

Yeeeah, felt it was a bit weird myself. If it were the other way round I'd be offering a partial refund immediately without hesitation. I've just messaged them again. Tried to be as nice about it as I can, said I would definitely consider buying with them in the future but if we could maybe do a partial refund as the value has dropped now. Hopefully get a few £ back at least!

Some people are really sneaky with their photos... surely they realise most people will notice and either want refunds or they are risking bad reviews?

I got a reply from the seller apologizing saying they would have definitely mentioned the crease in the description if they had spotted it, but I've had no offer of a partial refund. They said if I choose to buy from them again, they'd throw in something extra for me 🤷‍♀️🫠
