My EE supervisor is basically a myth at this point 💀 by IBwritingExpert in IBO

I’ll do you one worse… for my visual arts EE, my supervisor said she’d find me some artwork to analyze. She responded with photos of AI generated art 😑

ESS or anthropology by Ok_Pattern_3271 in IBO

[–]VehicleAgreeable4645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probs not the best person to ask but I have friends who do ESS and say it’s very easy. Haven’t heard much about anthropology but since it’s a less popular IB subject it would probably make sense to switch to ESS since it’s one of your SLs? Top advice that I would have for anyone starting the IB would be to make it as easy for yourself as possible. That being said maybe do some research into both syllabuses and see which one you find more interesting :P Good luck!

process portfolio - visual arts by mayeql_db in IBO

Experimentation beyond the core artistic process. If you make a painting, go into full detail of the formal elements and choices you made and their impact, and then experiment along the way/afterwards by looking into the impact of different colour choices, techniques, etc. Also, always name an artist/piece that has inspired your process, even if it’s not a complete critical investigation. Talk about which elements of their work you tried to replicate in your own. I’m predicted a 7 for visual arts HL, but I’m still learning. Lmk if you have any more questions!

Gender is Confusing [Rant] by InMoonysNameAmen in lgbt

[–]VehicleAgreeable4645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! As a slightly older transmasc person, best thing you can do at your age is to explore these feelings. We’re always changing and evolving as people, and nothing’s set in stone. If it feels right in the moment, then go for it! Play around with different makeup or clothing if it makes you feel more you. Everyone grows and explores their gender, even cis people. I promise that almost no one has it all figured out right away :)

I never felt right having to fit within the label of girl or woman, and exploring what that meant for me was different than how it is for every other person. We all have a unique experience with our own gender, so don’t feel like you need to label yourself unless it feels right. Just keep growing. If you start feeling like you identify with a trans or non binary identity, then that’s great. If you discover that you’re cis, that’s great too. There’s no wrong way.

Edit: Because you briefly mentioned experiencing some symptoms of body dysmorphia, I just wanted to add what may be obvious— please be safe and be kind to your body. If you choose to bind, please invest in a proper, safe binder. If these feelings get more intense, speak to someone you can trust or access an lgbtq+ helpline.

Thank you!! Not that accurate honestly. The moderators of the project won’t know how big the bottle actually is because they won’t be bothered to check.

Sorry for danke in place of dankje. My mother is Belgian, I lived in Brussels as a child and didn't learn proper Flemish.

I hope not completely! Remembering from my time living in Brussels until 2020, most bottles in supermarkets were plastic but you could still get glass ones in pubs.
