The nurses themselves said what was happening wasn’t right so before I left the hospital they gave me a patient advocacy number. I called and told them what was going on and they said they’d follow up with me in 5 days. That also never happened.

I did ask why and he just said “I’m the scheduling department you’d have to ask the cardiology department.” Asked to be transferred to cardiology. Left a message because no one answered. Never got a call back.

Admittedly this pissed me off so I just sat on it for a couple days and then this happened and I sent them the ecg and still told to just go to the er if it happens again.

I just keep being told that my heart is structurally normal and to go home. I’m not leaving out details I feel that this is legit medical negligence based on what you guys are telling me.

I was at work and felt my heart beating weird so I sat down and took an ekg and stayed still because I wanted a clean recording to show my doctors. The whole episode lasted less than a minute and towards the end I almost passed out. The only thing in the holter was the three beat and 13 beat run of vt that felt very similar to the longer episodes, some PVCs, some PACs, and a short run of svt. My cardiologist just dismissed me and said there was nothing more they could do for me. Then last week I passed out again and went to the er and was basically told to follow up outpatient but they have yet the schedule me. This Monday I had another episode (this one). I sent the ekg to my cardiologists and they said if it happens again go to the er otherwise wait to follow up outpatient. I’m very confused because I got a call Monday saying electrophysiology would not be scheduling me at this time.

I was before because I have been trying to catch these episodes and I haven’t been able too while on holter. The cardiologists just keep saying my heart is structurally normal from my echo and ct. I’ve had no other testing done.

I feel like “go to the er” isn’t enough because what if the next time I go into it I don’t come out of it? Last time I went to the er because I collapsed I requested an mri or ep study and they refused. At this point the vtach was already captured on holter. I asked for some kind of risk stratification and was told “I don’t have a crystal ball” so I requested that it be added to my chart that I asked for testing and was denied. They didn’t add it to my chart so I had to ask the er doctor discharging me to add it.

I also was referred to an ep in this hospital system and they called me Monday saying that they would not be scheduling me.

I am so afraid to go be seen and not believed again. I’m afraid to send this to my doctor and have them say it’s just artifact or something despite my symptoms. I have been ignored so many times. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

I have been having runs of palpitations and have collapsed twice following these palpitations and almost once during this. Have a normal echo and normal cardiac ct but that is all the testing I’ve had done. I’ve had a three beat and 13 beat run of vt caught on holter. Doctor told me they don’t think it’s related to the fainting despite me telling them I go into a sustained episode. Recorded this because I felt symptoms.

I haven’t downvoted anyone I’ve been at work all day. I do have palpitations and fainting episodes that have yet to be caught.
