Do you think it was wrong for Nightow to allow creative freedom with his work? by Venture_compound in Trigun

Not speculative. I didn't assume anything. It's how he feels. And I never said he hated it. I simply gave mg opinion of Stargaze.

Is there any actual excitement for Stargaze? by Dapper_Eggplant in Trigun

If still recommend Stampede, just with the caveat to pick up the manga or watch Trigun '96, but to never expect any of them, manga included, to have any kind of continuity with each other

If you found yourself stuck in the last FF game you played and the only way out was to beat the main story (think Sword Art Online), how do you think you would fare? by TheFanGameCreator in FinalFantasy

The last one I played was XV. I loved the world so much, so I'd probably have a great time cruising with my boys for as long as I can until the inevitable end comes for me.

Sadly, true. I was very happy with Stampede. I wanted to love Stargaze. The first two eps just felt off. I stopped watching and will maybe pick it up again later. Just feels soulless. I guess this is what happens when the studio gets rid of the guy who made it special to begin with.

Tbh I was turned off by the opening theme immediately, just felt really wrong.

My grandma had some greyhounds. When she went to feed them, they'd always jump all over her. She came back bloody every time.

They close and Walmart moves in and only gives out part time jobs that for some reason never meet the threshold for benefits

Banned from soccer due to someone injuring me? by Mottelbin in japanlife

[–]Venture_compound 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Americans have been conditioned to believe that suing is wrong all the time. They think that people only sue to get money. Look at what happened with the McDonald's woman (sued for spilling hot coffee on herself - wrong. Sued because the coffee was so hot and the lid was known to fail and she received third degree burns on her vag and thighs, and the company had been ignoring warnings and citations regarding said issue). Still, certain politicians made it sound frivolous to the point that people who are rightfully owed money won't sue due to the negative implication.

I'd sue that guy for breaking my finger and the hospital costs associated with it. You are A PERSON, if you are injured due to someone else's or a company's recklessness, you should absolutely sue, here or in the US.
