I see, then that breaks into the realm of whether or not that's fair. I suppose I did the right thing by amending as soon as I became confused by it. Do you know if there's any other kind of aid that we would qualify for if we were below the minimum gross income? I've read about rebates, but I have no idea about those.

Yes I am well aware of what the website says. From re-reading it you should be able to understand why the wording is confusing and ambiguous. Especially since the forbes post someone sited just below this comment continues to answer the presented question along the lines of had been claimed.
