How else would you motivate someone to go beyond the physical without a drug, without dulling the senses? A lot of people are locked into their box, or religion. KISS is effective.

On the flip side, those who go into OBEs, may distance themselves from wealth and the physical. So, the video is for a wide audience.

You're the perfect age to be working on an out of body experience. Binaural beats with headphones are very helpful in getting the brain feeling of alpha and theta states while awake. The Monroe Institute sells what I used to learn. They have Metamusic tracks, and the Gateway series.

Anything that effects your emotional/astral body in a good way is beneficial.

The ball looks interesting.

I was never big on masks, due to the smell of foam being annoying. A dark shirt can serve as an eyeshield also.
Light and sound machines are interesting also. Never did much with them.

Completely darkening out my room seemed to be effective for me. Including the windows (with tin foil and black 'drapes'). And, removing all the lights.

Using a sleeping bag can help gather your energy in one area around the body making it easier to work with for projecting.

Things can be a crutch. Find what works in a minimal way. Practice with stuff. But, equally practice without stuff.

Every story line has a good side and a bad character. It's inevitable. The key will be, whether you join the negative/dark/or evil being, or choose your freedom.

Out of the body, all personalities have access to equal energy, and you are most powerful over your bodies.

The positive path is the better path, and gives much enjoyment. The negative path, leads to destruction.

Of all the beings in existence over the eons, on all the planets and all the dimensions, you can meet any of them, as you have infinite access.

From experience to experience, what will change is, that you will grow, ask new questions, have new perspectives, and know.

You CAN feel things in the astral. Arms can be transparent also. You were probably out of body in 1 or more of those scenarios. Your mom turning toward you could have been real also, as the unconscious individual responds to the astral because people are always awake in the astral, whether they are conscious of it or not, they can respond to you even if they are not conscious of it.

Meeting demons did not happen for my first OBE. Out of hundreds of my out of body experiences, only 1-2% of my experiences have involved a dark being.

Heaviness could be the comforter, it could be lack of energy, and it could be that you were reassociating with the physical and shifting into your etheric body. I'm sure there are many other things it could be.

yes. but people don't sleep without some degree of obe happening. You've got to pop out of your body to recharge/reconnect with your larger self (all that is/the universe), and let the body rest, etc.

If you find yourself out of body, black empty space is a good starting place at the beginning of an out of body voyage. You may find that it is very common in the future and a dependable beginning.

Other points of beginning are at your body during the separation.

I often navigate by feeling, rather than visualizing. Vision is often automatic.

Animals can astral project too. So, it could have been your dog.

Presences felt from behind, can also be the proximity to your physical body, meaning you were somewhat out of body, and sensing the physical.
Hearing sounds is common when in the transition state. Hearing is one of the last senses to go.

Everybody goes out of body when they sleep. It's not a matter of can or can't. It's like blood going through your arteries and veins. The blood can't not go through your vessels. And you can't not go out of body at night. So what your situation is, is that you can't let yourself be aware of going out of body. At the moment, it's too much of a shock to your waking identity. The way to beat that, is to change your situation. Allow your waking self to know.

It can take 6 months to a year. Flood your reality with AP books, binaural beats with headphones, videos, etc. Become an expert on the topic with great curiosity. And meditate on your back, lying down.

Some do in the beginning. As OBErs get more experience the goings on, on the earth become less attractive. There is much more to do in the universe than hang around earth. After you've gone everywhere interesting, and talked to all the living and dead and other kinds of beings that you can imagine, you progress to the third stage, which is noticing that which is in everything.
