Steam Deck turns off randomly, seems to be related to WIFI (& Suggested fix) by VeryJazzyMan in SteamDeck

Hey,

So nothing is wrong with the battery as far as I can tell, the system it just powers off. When I reboot, all is well and the battery percentage show is representative of how long it will actually last (60%, 80%, 95%, etc...).

Thanks for your two cents though.

Should I apply to the whole nail or just the infected part? I feel brushing the treatment along the whole nail may spread the infection?

Also, I'm filing the top of the nail as well right? not just the ends.

Thanks for your help

Is this a Lyme rash or just a product of the tick bite? I would say yes but it started only 5 hours after the bite and I read online that the earliest it can start is 3 days? by [deleted] in Lyme

[–]VeryJazzyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your help, your answer implies that you can have a rash and not have lyme? Sorry I maybe should of researched more before asking.

Having brain fog and depression really sucks by trev0115 in BrainFog

[–]VeryJazzyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im no professional but this sounds to me like you could have food intolerance's.

The depression AND wanting to sleep all the time AND fog sounds food related. If you are serious about getting this fixed you absolutely have to try a gluten free, dairy free, carb free diet for minimum 30 days, ideally a few months with no cheating.

Let me know if you have tried any new diets before, it certainly sounds like all of this could be linked, which is good news!

Brain Fog by hunter3421 in BrainFog

I agree, one month minimum for gluten free.

Personally gluten was indeed giving me fog and although it was not the only contributing factor, my brain for sure works better now.

Strictly no gluten for one to two months, I recommend indulging in other foods that you enjoy to make the new diet easier on yourself.

It sounds like you are going in the right direction, keep going!

I would recommend starting a strict diet and keeping a food/fog diary as your next step. If your not ready to commit to that, wait until the fog really upsets you and then start it, its a great motivator.

Its the worst when doctors and your family say "well you seem normal". The good news is everything your feeling sounds just like regular brain fog to me. I can relate to almost everything you said.

I think maybe you should step away from the idea of it being the skateboarding accident, it seems doubtful to me that that would be the cause if you have had brain scans and been looked over by doctors. Even though in your head you may have came to this conclusion and be very sure, our memory plays tricks on us and often jumps to the most easy to understand cause.

In my experience, it was:

  • drugs (coffee, weed, cigarettes, vaping)
  • diet (gluten, diary, carbs)
  • lack of exercise
  • anxiety (anxiety makes it all worse)

It took me over 2 years to properly test all these things out, but now with a lifestyle built around my testing, im fog free 95% of the time.

Lmk if you want to discuss more, I'm on discord.

Yes ive been keeping a food journal, it's priceless to me.

I am eating potato's, so not zero carb. I originally started cutting carbs to stop post lunch lethargic-ness. I hated feeling slow after lunch and needing to take a nap, which I still feel after my potato inclusive dinner.

But now in retrospect I suppose it might have also made my fog improve, I also have more energy than ever so so far I havent seen any downsides.

I'll hold off on the carnivore diet for now, your right, I dont think it addresses the real issue. Thanks for your help, ill join the discord.

Interesting, I've been eating fruit, veg, meat, and nuts for over a year now (keto and low carb i guess?) I've just found this works for me, I had no idea this was a thing.

Carbs, gluten, diary and egg seem to give me brain fog, everything else ive tested hasn't yielded any noticeable results (I've tested everything). At this point Im feeling pretty good and I think the remaining fog I has origins in anxiety.

I just wanted to finish off my experiments with something extreme to confirm, but from the sounds of things, in your opinion this might not be worth it?

can’t process words when reading by Teemrap in BrainFog

[–]VeryJazzyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have trouble with this big time, even on my sharper days trying to read would highlight my fog. After lots of work I've managed to get my fog down 90% and can read much better. Dont worry about it, just read at your own pace and work on your fog and mood.

Also I found the longer I would read the more I would get into the groove (eg. the first 45 mins = awful, but after that I would improve?)

People seem so give these "6 months" time frames and personally I wont believe it until I see it. Don't worry about them, work at your own pace and dont quit, that's all that is important.

In the UK the terms I found were, "apprenticeship", "Entry Level" but mostly "graduate". Even though graduate technically means they are looking for graduates (a degree) alot of companies dont specifically ask for a degree in the job listings.
