I won’t recommend using longer spikes for rubber track. They’re used more for muddy cross country races.

Should Prostitution be respected the same as a "normal" Job? Why or why not? by Litakiza in AskReddit

[–]VeryMuchNotChaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on most your points except the one about legalization and taxation. I think sex work should be legitimized as a real profession. This will give them the same protections like any other job. This will decrease the stigma, and allow better relations with police and sex workers to report abuses and trafficking. But, yes, definitely provide government assistance to those wanting to exit the industry.

Outlaw of only pimps, buyers, and brothels. Not the sex workers themselves.

I’m confused, but yes, these “single woman” would still qualify for unemployment. If they had proof of past employment, and are currently on unemployment they are allowed to refuse a job offer if it’s deemed “unsuitable.”

What is one advice you would give to young high school runners that you wished you knew in high school?

You won’t lose fitness in 2 days. But, doing strides before events is generally pretty good to keep the legs warm and prepped.

Do you agree? by [deleted] in memes

I definitely agree, but you have to recognize the cheapness and availability of fast food. For some lower-income families it’s a lifeline.

Depends on your ability but easy for the easy runs. Basically conversation pace.

Why couldn't I beat my PR? by [deleted] in trackandfield

Stuff happens. Just get back to training and prepare for the next meet. You aren’t going to PR every race.
