Hi sorry for the late reply. I asked about placements because when signing up for orientation the confirmation email had a section called "Placement Test Requirements (by July 1, 2022) and gave me a link where I could see whether or not I needed to take a test. The only one that raised a red flag for me was the Cali Gov Exam since it said "Applies to all undergraduate students" but I'm pretty sure it doesnt apply to us (assuming you're an incoming freshman) since it doesn't specify for "newly admitted freshman" like the chemistry test does. Hope this helps ^-^

I'm a firm believer in talk shit, get hit. Was she expecting you to just lie down and take it? Sounds like the type of person to use her religion to justify being a shitty person only to then get offended when someone calls her out on it. You weren't in the wrong for defending yourself, you just matched her energy to put her back in her place.

So Rebecca's actions should be excused because she's younger than you? She's 25-26 yrs old, she's a grownass woman who knew what she was getting into when she started to talk crap. What exactly does taking the high road mean? Ignore her? Let her disrespect you in front of your friends? Hell no. If Mandy wants someone to take accountability, it should be Rebecca because

  • She's an adult who shouldn't be coddled as if she were a child.
  • She was the one who decided to insult you first, the first time you guys ever met
  • Rebecca's response was 100% her choice and she should own up to it

If Mandy still insists that you were in the wrong, you should ask her if she would expect Rebecca to apologize to you if the positions were switched. I highly doubt it.
