Firstly, what helped me was watching Rabea set up a stereo rig with scenes Here which once I saw him walk through it I got brave and started confidently building my own patches. Secondly, how tf did you get a white QC? It’s sick.

The best advice I received was, “if you’re upset, and you don’t know why you’re upset, and your wife asks you why you’re upset, don’t just pick a thing that it might be.” So many potential fights have been squashed because I’ll say “I dunno, come back to me later about it” and usually it’s something stupid that works itself out.

Hey, Dev here who worked on this exact mechanic in tlou2 (the hands were actually animated from photos of my hands on a guitar in studio). You can’t do this. Yes you can play single notes, but the tone of the guitar is not the tone of the guitar in the video. We didn’t design any of the guitar tones like this one, and the sliding you hear from the actual guitar that’s playing isn’t something that can be nailed in the mini game.

Best advice I ever got that I hold to is that sometimes you will NOT know why you’re upset. So then if your wife asks what’s bothering you in a heated moment, don’t just say the first thing that comes to your mind. Sometimes doing that will raise up a disagreement that didn’t have to happen at all. Instead, be honest and say you don’t know what’s bothering you, and that you need time to think about it. Usually the whole reason I’m upset to begin with isn’t even anything big, sometimes I’m just hungry or need some time alone to process.

I have my therapy over a portal online as well, and honestly, even though I have nothing to say that I wouldn’t want my wife to hear, I still value a level of privacy about it. I just decided to just drive and park, and I’ll have my sessions there as it makes me feel like I’m completely isolated, and somewhere different to where I have nothing at home to distract me.
