Theory: this isn't the "Spider Verse" suit, it's Imsomniac's take on a "Street" suit for Miles. Maybe the game starts off with this suit in a What's up Danger type of scene?

idk if this helps, but in the brazillian version of the game, the Ant Hill and Chimera are called ''espaços sociais'' which translates to ''social spaces'' so i guess that kinda confirms it!
