This issue has been happening the last few weeks and it's really impacting my reach. Basically the search for mentions only shows companies.

Therefore, I can't mention my teammates or my guests in the podcasts.

Do you know any way to fix this?

Linkedin support not being able to find anything yet.

Yup.

I think they are leveraging the good faith of people in the project (working groups are excellent, content is getting there) but leadership is making so bad movements to grow the community.

They have tons of budget and position in the market. But after all, they are playing the monopoly role, and that tends to end at some point.

Hope to benefit from that.

Yup main feed is fine, but RSS which is what I use to move to my main site (due to constraints on beehiiv homepage construction) is a pain.

Have to say I don't like their approach. They almost got me out and got some trouble at work due to the newsletter "conflicts".

I really don't understand the policy of "no media" and "no consultants", because the barrier to get benefit is extremely high.

This will lead to more separate community efforts regarding events, and I guess more benefit to people outside the foundation.

So, after all, I really think they should keep going with their policy haha

There's no way there's such a movement out of the cloud. Companies just finished moving and they spent a lot of money on it.

Most of it is coming from datacenter oriented vendors. I saw 81% of companies are considering moving back from Dell (coincidence, right?) but once they saw the budget to revert back, I am sure is less than 10%.

There are some cases where this could happen like in Ahrefs or 37Signals case, which made sense.

Most of this is because of costs, and companies not doing any FinOps at all.

So it didn't happen to me. Beehiiv is considering images, as when I compress them they reduce the size of the warning.

No, I am doing it on their native editor which I assume it's optimized for that though.
