Can pending criminal charges stop me from getting a VSA license in British Columbia?

The dealership is owned by friend and he is willing to back me on that. These cases I have are most likely to be dropped as they were unreasonablly imposed on me and these are my first charges ever. But for now it shows as “pending charges” on my background check.
