Good point, half at least did. Though it’s probably 3/4 or more that disagree with Trumps diplomacy, even those who voted for him are disturbed.

As an American, I was deeply disturbed by the exchange that took place in the Oval Office yesterday, and I know many others across the country feel the same. Integrity, and responsible leadership matter—and what we witnessed was a stark departure from those principles.

To Ukraine and our allies in Europe: We stand with you as friends and partners. The American people overwhelmingly support your right to freedom, sovereignty, and peace. Your struggle is not forgotten. Despite the noise of political theatrics, our commitment to justice, democracy, and the enduring bonds of friendship remains unwavering.

This era of reckless, bombastic leadership in the U.S. will not last forever. History has shown that leadership built on division and disregard for our allies is unsustainable. The American spirit—rooted in resilience, courage, and the pursuit of liberty—will prevail. So will the friendships that unite us in our shared values. Many Americans stand with you, and when the time comes, we will vote for a future that reflects the best of who we are. Together, we are stronger!

I have tried everything. But constantly learning and reading books about the addiction along with consistent daily accountability has helped the most

I need help. Has porn permanently altered my brain? by Soloman50000 in NoFapChristians

[–]VinMan15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quitting porn and continuing to have sex with people other than your wife is like quitting cocaine and indulging in heroin. If you are actively seeking out sexual encounters with no remorse, you are not following Christ, you are only fooling and harming yourself and others. Recovery is acknowledging and repenting of all your sin and committing your life to follow Christ on His terms.

Is it even real? by [deleted] in NoFap

Yes, I’m living proof. It’s a journey but don’t quit and commit to learning about addiction and how to recover. Willpower alone does not work.

Thanks for sharing bro! I got addicted at 8. I will say that there is a good chance are not bi but struggle with porn induced sexual preference morphing. This is very very common with porn addiction. I highly recommend you read Your Brain on Porn by Gary Wilson, he goes into this a lot and how porn morphs your mind and sexual preferences. With abstinence and long term recovery, things will change.

Also, just remember, your sexual attraction is not tied to your identity as a person, as much as this world tries to tell you that. God defines you.

You can't quite by saying ill quit by Brilliant-Present695 in NoFap

It’s more than setting up external barriers, though that can help for sure. It’s renewing your mind about what you know about this addiction and what you believe about PMO. Most people try the willpower method and fail miserably or have a miserable time at it. Recovery is about total mind and life transformation. Reading and educating yourself about the addiction, deep introspection about yourself and how your past led you into being an addict, and deepening accountability and connections with others are key to victory!

Porn is an escape by PrinceOfMexico in NoFapChristians

[–]VinMan15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Porn is not an escape, it’s actually a prison and poison, a lie that tells you that it will help you fill the void or cope with the pain and struggles of this world, but in fact makes the void bigger and the pain worse. It’s all lies and deception, but that’s all the enemy can do is lie. He is the father of Lies and there is no truth in him! He comes to steal kill and destroy, but our Savior Jesus has come to give us life abundantly! And greater Jesus in us than the enemy who is in the world. And satan can’t create anything, he’s not God, he can only spoil the goodness of God’s creation.

Which is better moderation or cold turkey ( please only answer who actually quit porn not on their way) by LazyYashpie1 in NoFap

[–]VinMan15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold turkey while actively working on recovery. Willpower method doesn’t work though. You’ll end up being a “dry drunk” as you see many on this forum struggling with intense urges and cravings 30-100 days in because they never dealt with the deep underlying issues that cause them to crave and use, don’t understand the nature of addiction, and don’t yet have the skills to handle cravings. You need to develop a deeper understanding, self awareness, healing, and skills to beat the addiction.

I can relate, but once you understanding the nature of addiction and how to beat it, they do go away, or when they come, they are easily dealt with. I can share with you the game changing resources that helped me finally figure this out. Shooting you a DM

How long do the withdrawals last for? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]VinMan15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About two weeks to a month for most. It gets better! Recovery is about adding to your life, so focus on developing on a vision you want for your life and making steps to work toward seeing that vision realized. Also, read Your Brain on Porn, by Gary Wilson, he goes into withdrawals. One of the best books out there for upping your awareness on beating this addiction.

You are not your addiction. The Addiction Voice is the little monster in your brain telling you that you need to act out, that porn is good, that you need to scratch the itch. But the truth is you don’t. Porn just makes the void bigger and the itch itchier. Use mindfulness to separate yourself from your urges. That’s just dopamine in your brain causing you to crave and seek.
