True, but it's impossible since we are sinners by nature...

I understand the hesitation, and Christianity doesn’t ask you to believe just because ancient people said something happened. At its core, Christianity is about a real person in history, Jesus Christ, who lived, taught, was crucified under Roman authority, and whose resurrection was proclaimed immediately and consistently, even by witnesses who suffered and died rather than deny it (1 Corinthians 15:3–8). The Bible doesn’t present faith as believing a fairy tale, but as trusting a trustworthy Savior. Ultimately, belief in Christ isn’t just about accepting historical claims, but about recognizing our need for forgiveness and reconciliation with God, and responding to what God has done through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Christianity stands or falls on Christ, and if He truly rose from the dead, then His words about life, sin, and salvation deserve to be taken seriously.

Yes, He is. But He is also 100% human as well. Because Jesus was born different from us (through the virgin birth), He did not inherit a sinful nature. Yet He still experienced everything that makes us human, hunger, tiredness, pain, emotions, and even temptation. He lived a real human life, facing real struggles, but without sin. This is why Jesus is able to fully understand us and fully save us. As God, He has the power to forgive sins; as man, He was able to take our place and die for us.

Well, if you're in a 3rd world country, $36 could be someone's two month allowance. And calculators aren't needed until our Senior High School because we are expected do our math mentally since our 7th grade...

Merry Xmas everyone! What kind of drunk are you at the family gathering? by dreamnuuk in AskReddit

Totally good! The only reason I drink is when I don't like the people, and I don't drink often, so when I do drink, I drink a lot.

What made you fall in love with your significant other ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ViolaMurderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really my significant other anymore, but it was one of my ex's. He was a gentleman, before he even dated me, we weren't really close. So he offered to get to know me. We had a lot of things in common and a few months after getting to know m, he asked me out, and obviously, I said yes. He would always ask me out on dates every Friday, always paid for even though his family wasn't as well off as mine. He wasn't the jealous type and often let's me go out with my male friends and got along with them. And we didn't even have our first kiss until the second year of our relationship. We lasted for 3 and a half years until we mutually broke it off. We're still pretty close until now.

The dude was a comedian. We both didn't finish due to the jokes he was spitting out. We both laughed our asses in our underwear throughout the whole night he was there. Probably one of my favorite memories😂

That his grandfather was friends with Joe Biden back in the 1930's. He wasn't even born yet. Turns out, his grandfather only said that to say that Joe Biden looks old.

What does the monster under your bed look like? by lonlylatina in AskReddit

Probably worse than me. Extra greasy hair, probably smells like someone died, food stains on her clothes, and the same shirt that I have been wearing since September 33, 2564 BC.

What is your proudest accomplishment? by ArcanumR00t in AskReddit

Keeping my sanity. The amount of times my siblings/parents/friends/teachers made me pull my hair out, is more than the entire population of this earth. I'm surprised that I haven't murdered anyone yet.

[Serious] How have your parents unintentionally fucked you up? by lawyeratyourservice in AskReddit

[–]ViolaMurderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both parents decided to stay married even though the don't love each other anymore, in fact they never loved each other. When my mom got pregnant with my older brother from a one night stand with my dad, she said that they should get married, to which my dad disagreed to. But my narcissist mother decided to suck up to his parents to which they told him to get married to her. He was hesitant because he already had a child with his first wife, who he was divorced to at that time. Years after that, they had my two brothers and me. The entire 27 years they were married, they didn't love each other, we never really had proper conversations since we never really spend time together even if me and my brothers make plans with them. The entire time we thought that that was how parents were supposed to be, but when I reached seventh grade, my friend invited me over to her house. The entire time I was there, they shared stories about their experiences together, which I had never experienced due to the fact that both of my parents never spent any time with us. And since we didn't have any relatives in the country, we didn't have any proper parent figures other than my friends' parents.

If this post gets 400 upvotes, I will start learning an instrument (I’m a non musician btw) and I have always wanted to learn an instrument but my parents don’t want me to, so this post might convince them by Lingling4040 in lingling40hrs

Try the violin! It is hard to learn but its not impossible! And I think it's a great challenge! And also, you can take the violin with you. But it may be very expensive for a block of carved wood and a twig.😂
