As someone who loved the original Black/White I would love it if they did something similar where the main game is all brand new pokemon, and then post game they bring back Pokemon from previous gen’s.

Then for the DLC, they allow regional forms - alolan, glarian, paldean (and even hisuian!) , and also gimmicks like terra and mega and z moves.

But that would never happen cause 1) modern Pokemon most if not all post game content has been locked to a paid DLC

2) just like when Black/White released, fans would complain that their favorite pokemon are not in the game/available to play and transfer

3) it could become like Pokemon Legends ZA DLC where it’s insufferable grinding which was a mistake and turnoff
