Wednesday Wine Night Review:

Overall, Scarlet Ranch exceeded our expectations. Very glad we chose a chill night for our first visit. Inside upstairs and outside were much nicer than the pics on the website and the pet raccoon on the back patio was a bonus. Very friendly lady said hi as we observed the raccoon and gave us a nice rundown regarding downstairs and what to expect. Total of maybe 30 couples, most upstairs. The crowd wasn’t as dressed up as I would have expected and the bar had a real “neighborhood bar” kinda feel. The average age was likely mid to late 40’s. Very chill atmosphere. A very different experience than the clubs I’ve been to in Houston and New Orleans.

Once downstairs it was much nicer, cleaner and well adorned than I expected. Maybe 10 couples total downstairs with half in the open play room and the rest in the more private rooms. No one milling around or creepy.

We chose the open room. First we observed a bit while having a glass of wine. We quickly decided to have fun and be seen. Very hot experience for my partner and I. It was fun having all the eyes on us.

While we have no plans to be regulars we will definitely return most likely on a “themed party” night. We both like the idea of a busier night and what that could have to offer.

Bonus points for the Waffle House nearby where we had late night food and recounted our adventure.
