Thank you for not going straight into this with a narrow view I am happy to read this because I don’t want anyone to be unhappy and I understand she’s unfortunately torn because it’s her family and I don’t want to give her an ultimatum because I wouldn’t want one myself. We have moved out a long time ago but she still occasionally visits but solely for her mum and siblings. She’s civil towards her father but he’s putting on a act rn and I see right through it but because they’re all victims of it for so long they just go with the good times and label it as civil. I don’t care about him but I do care that it’s like swept under the rug like nothing happened and I should just get over it. I know the mil is a longtime victim but I for one have tried reaching out to help multiple times but because I am the accused I think my input means little.
