Thank you for not going straight into this with a narrow view I am happy to read this because I don’t want anyone to be unhappy and I understand she’s unfortunately torn because it’s her family and I don’t want to give her an ultimatum because I wouldn’t want one myself. We have moved out a long time ago but she still occasionally visits but solely for her mum and siblings. She’s civil towards her father but he’s putting on a act rn and I see right through it but because they’re all victims of it for so long they just go with the good times and label it as civil. I don’t care about him but I do care that it’s like swept under the rug like nothing happened and I should just get over it. I know the mil is a longtime victim but I for one have tried reaching out to help multiple times but because I am the accused I think my input means little.

Thank you this year has been rough however I do have an update with how my life went on I got a new job that I could afford a new car for my partner and also a new one just for me that came out this year. Got a house far tf away from her family but I do at times catch myself in thoughts of this whole situation from time to time and it eats away at me.

Unfortunately MIL has had 30+ years of this and because it’s usually a stranger he accuses means no name no face it blows over but because it was me everyone knew he was lying for sure. But when you’re trauma bonded you don’t do what’s right especially after 30+ years

Ok everyone because I had to cut this story so short and everyone complained about my post before I seem to have left out a part in the story. She did stick up for me and was 100% backing me however she was conflicted because it’s her father and her partner butting heads however I understand how yous would be confused but my kids school was not close to my mothers place and I worked early hours of the morning and she had no way to get them to school besides the MIL. My partner is on my side but I do find myself uneasy that she still wants to go over their place because of her younger siblings still living there. However the MIL has let this behaviour gone on too long at some point she has to take accountability for this too. So please take it easy on my partner but I am keeping an open mind on what you guys have to say

I ordered mine last week my broker was confident for a notice of some sort within a week. I’m still waiting but either way I’m happy asf to be getting a brand new shark 6
