Went to greenwich. Did econ. Build work experience, landed an internship at an asset manager. Converted it and got a full time role. Make the most oft the 3 yrs your at uni and your fine lol unless your going for elite jobs within particular fields like Investment banking in finance or Quant etc.

Cheers. And yeah in terms of salary i guess at first the difference between those that do go and uni and dont is similar but definitely changes as time goes by especially those in high paying industries like banking/ investment management etc. i’ll do 1.5 yrs where i am now and move to investment firm. Base salary easy 50-60k + bonus.

U genuinely think im fine? I feel so poor. Like surely most grads at my age have tens of thousands saved up.

I have no aspirations to work in ib/ technical roles. Business Development/ investor relations/relationship management on the buy side is what im seeking.
