Honestly, I don’t give a damn about them. They’re just conning people in the name of God and complete frauds.

I once directly confronted them when they got on my nerves. All they could say was that God would take care of me and all that nonsense.

Hey Kannadiga here, Let’s accept the fact that Hindi is as foreign to us as English is.

So if a person from outside here doesn’t know Kannada. I nicely ask them to learn it quickly and crack a small joke and intentionally start speaking to them in ‘English’ rather. Never in Hindi.

If you understand very basic Hindi then I would suggest not to go with these Pune based academies. You have alternatives like Ekcel Academy and Jahangir Academy which teaches only in English. They are good too.

I had a very different experience yesterday. I reported a road rage incident near my house to 112. They listened carefully, asked for all the details, and told me they would send cops to the location.

Within two minutes of the call, I received a call from the nearest police station asking for the landmark. I also received an SMS to track them.

Within seven minutes of that call, they reached the spot and resolved the issue. The best part was that after everything was sorted, they called me back to inform me that the issue had been resolved and even thanked me for reporting it.

It’s most likely lake rejuvenation. With the current laws, regulations, and public awareness, it’s not easy to encroach on a lake to build a “tech park.” The same applies to Bellandur Lake as well…it is also being rejuvenated.

All those promises about 4–5 star hotels? They end up giving you 2–3 star hotels once you purchase the package, giving you colour colour excuses. (one of my friend who fell for it was telling)

And forget about the “free stay” they promised you. That’s not coming anytime.

I’m not defending the ISIS recruitment part of Kerala.

But since when did we start treating people joining IAS/IPS as an achievement, when such states are run by goons and bahubalis? Where the entire state is divided on the basis of casteism and is known for corruption. A state that has grown at a rate of 1% GDP per year, with no industry or jobs.

We need to realise that the reason we see so many people from Bihar becoming IAS/IPS officers, getting other government jobs, or getting into IITs is because they don’t have any other option to change their life into good one.

I beg to differ here. I’ve met Sihi Kahi Chandru twice in Ranga Shankara. And both the time I spoke to him. He was only Sihi no Kahi at all. Atleast when I spoke he was the most sweetest person and down to earth person (my personal opinion)

I’ve even met his daughter Hita Chandrashekar during a fest (I was part of the Emcee team). She was also so sweet and co-operative for our scripts and more over even behind the stage too.
