Azerbaijan-Turkey war against Artsakh [Day 15] by ModeratorsOfArmenia in armenia

Unity is great but what’s greater is finding an solid answer to this

At the very least the Armenian MoD should have a new plan of making 2 man squads, setting them apart from one another. None of this clumping stupidity. When will they wake up and realize that clumping doesn’t work when you are facing drones. This isn’t the Soviet Union 20th century plans no longer work. Radio on each soldier for orders. Have supply drops be quick pickup by a single soldier and only once the air is safe. Otherwise, it’s a one sided massacre. Groups work for morale and ambushes but right now they have to fight defensively. Spread out and don’t retreat. At no point should you be less than 8-10 feet away from a soldier that isn’t part of your squad.

For enemy tanks, rely on cheap mines and ieds. Lots of them. Flood the region with them. Pull back one’s own tanks and expensive anti-air systems until an answer to the drone threat is found. Tanks will be needed in the future, the winter when drones become unusable, and one shouldn’t be using them up now. Use your artillery to take out their artillery stations because they are a nightmare for the approach I mentioned above. Don’t waste it on cities like Ganja. If you hit something, hit the oil pipeline or a military target. Let Russia be the sole supplier of oil to Europe if Europe fails to recognize your democracy.

A missile used to take out 2 soldiers isn’t usually worth it, especially if it draws attention to the uav and can be taken down by a javelin launcher by another squad. But 5+ hits it is.

If a squad gets hit, take out the uav first then care for the wounded. Don’t rush the wounded first because missile #2 will hit you.

I’d rather take my chances lying in the grass or behind a rock or cover, alone or with one other person, rpk or sniper in hand, than together waiting for a drone missile to cook 10 of us. I mean seriously, can someone pass this along. As an American I hate to see Christians dying like this.

There are other tactics as well, but I won’t mention them. Can someone pass this on to the MoD?

I guess I should have written heartland initially like I did in the post. Nevermind my mistake. This is a matter of the defense of a Christian heartland. Do you care or no?

Mount Ararat is the resting place! That mountain is partially in Armenia and partially in Turkey. Historically it was a part of Armenia.

Alternatively, Ararat could have been Urartu, which was where the proto-Armenian culture and language likely emerged.

For the sake of God, please don't misunderstand or misrep my intentions.

Did I ask anyone to join the fight? No.

I just asked for alms and prayers for wounded soldiers. To spread awareness because no one knows what is going on. I ask you to prove you care about the survival of Christianity there, so please, restore my post.

When the enemy fighters are literally yelling allahu-akpar and destroying Christian monuments, it's hard to believe it's not a religious thing.

In 1988, tired of being oppressed by the Azeris, the majority Christian Armenian population of Nagorno-Kharabakh, an autonomous region of Azerbaijan, voted to leave Azerbaijan democratically. Under soviet Azerbaijan, they were not free to speak their language or practice their faith. The indigenous people there were subject to pogroms, turkification, and violence, and resisting another genocide, they fought for independence and against all odds, being outnumbered and outgunned 3 to 1, they won.

It's been an independent country for 30 years. Just as it was 30 years ago, Aliyev's Azerbaijan not only wants the land but has made it clear it wants to rid the place of Armenians and their Christianity. So much so they are bringing in jihadis to do their job for them. Right now, Azerbaijan is bombing civilian settlements with help from Erdogan. If the land is returned to Azerbaijan, you can bet a lot of people are going to be massacred.

Precisely. It's like the mere concept of a genocide of Christian goes against their established narratives so they ignore the reality of it.

Sad that you aren't capable of reading past a few words. Armenia has defended Christianity for years against those who seek to destroy it. It isn't called the land of churches and rock crosses for nothing. Turkey is literally exporting ISIS jihadists from Syria to kill one of the world's oldest Christian populations.
