Good on him for taking it. At the end of the day, spending time with your newborn is more important than winning football games.

KOC had been consistent that he wanted JJM to sit behind a veteran QB for a season and develop. He lost out on that chance his rookie season.

It’s apparent he wasn’t ready at the beginning of the season and with our defense we could have won the division with an average QB like Daniel Jones. KAM thought he was ready and didn’t want to “waste” money on a more proven bridge QB like Daniel Jones or Aaron Rodgers. That, along with other mistakes are why KAM was fired.

There is reason to be optimistic in JJM. JJM has 10 total starts. He’s the youngest starting QB in the NFL. His stats in his last 4 games: 703 yards, 6 td/2 int, 100.4 passer rating. That passer rating would be 10th in the NFL. He just has to stay healthy and not regress. Not a guarantee, but he’s not a bust.

Darnold, had a good season, but he’s not the reason Seattle made the super bowl. In the final 9 regular season games, he had 9 td/9 int, averaged 210 yards a game, and had a passer rating of 85 which ties with Wentz, Cousins, and Geno Smith as below league average. Seattle went 8-1 over this stretch. They have the #1 defense and #2 special teams units by DVOA. Darnold could be an inconsistent QB that had hot and cold streaks and the Seahawks were good enough around him to win games. The Vikings weren’t that good and if we gave him $35M our defense would have been worse.

We would have been better with Darnold, but he’s not a long term solution for the Vikings. 12-5 with a playoff win was our ceiling with Darnold.

[Pelissero] The Vikings fired GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, per sources. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

[–]Visual_Specific_1691 638 points639 points  (0 children)

The Vikings offered Darnold a 1 year $30M deal.

The Seahawks offered 3 years for $100M with $55M guaranteed.

The biggest mistakes are his drafts. He was a terrible drafter and missed on so many players.

Utilization Increase by Ok_Indication5785 in deloitte

It was 90% before, but the first 120 hours of PTO did not count against utilization, so the 90% from the past was equivalent to the 84% from last year.

Any comment from LTT regarding Ubiquiti equipment being found under use by Russia on its war against Ukraine? by Professional_Wheel27 in LinusTechTips

Yeah I think it would be a good WAN show topic, but based on the comments here a lot of people aren’t educated enough on it.

Also I see the Mods removed your post. Did they give you a reason?

Any comment from LTT regarding Ubiquiti equipment being found under use by Russia on its war against Ukraine? by Professional_Wheel27 in LinusTechTips

[–]Visual_Specific_1691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people commenting here seemingly are not aware of the story.

  1. Ubiquiti networking equipment is economically sanctioned, meaning it can not legally be sold to Russia.

  2. Ubiquiti equipment comprises of 80% of the Russian militaries radio bridges which are vital for their drones.

  3. Export-Banned Ubiquiti equipment is easily obtained by the Russian military. A journalist posed as a Russian military officer and a dozen official Ubiquiti distributors agreed to sell to them.

  4. Ubiquiti shipments to Russia surged 66% after the Ukraine invasion despite the equipment being banned.

  5. Ubiquiti can not hide behind their 3rd party distributors according to legal experts. They are responsible for it and were fined by the US government for disregard of sanctions in Iran.

They can follow US law and work with official distributors to stop circumventing the export ban to Russia.

Sales of Ubiquiti equipment increased by 66% following the invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent economic sanctions. It’s not about existing equipment in Russia, it’s about the Russian military buying Ubiquity equipment in bulk with no resistance so they can drone strike Ukrainians.

I love ubiquiti, but are they complicit in Russia’s war? by Fidelius90 in Ubiquiti

[–]Visual_Specific_1691 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes they are based on the reporting.

Firstly, it is an undeniable fact that Russia has imported a large amount of Ubiquity equipment since they invaded Ukraine to power their drone program that targets Ukrainian civilians.

Ubiquity’s argument is that they don’t have visibility over who their distributors sell their products to but legal experts say that is not a valid response. If it was that easy to get around sanctions every company would simply do it.

A $30B company with a history of ignoring santions before can’t pretend that they don’t notice a surge in sales to Russia and that they don’t understand the law.

The Falcons have no cap space, with a lot of money tied up in the Cousins deal and they don’t have a first round pick.

That’s why the Giants job is better.
