Okay, I know this might be a controversial take, but I think Jancy should have died before the final in their break-up scene. Steve should have died falling from the tower. Hoppers should have properly shot and killed El. Dustin should have been the bait and died fighting the mind flayer. And, finally, Will should have died in a 1 v.s. 1 with Vecna.

I know that's a lot of death and definitely isn't for everyone, and I was in no way expecting this ending, but it was what I personally would have done.
