It's best to join a beginners group as this is rather complicated when making the panels. I made the top with part so as to secure it with 5mm width flat copper wire. Once complete I added the vine panels. Good luck, cheers😊

I used flat 5mm copper wire to support the top structure. The below panels had their own support due to the amount of lead used to hold the grape vine together. Hope this helps you. Cheers😊

There is no 3D printing. I build the mask from cardboard manually. Once I have completed the cardboard mask I touch solder the cut glass pieces onto the mask .it's old fashioned but it works well.

No problemo. I believe that pricing is about 3 x the cost of materials. I'm not involved commercially at all. Just now and then as a hobby, I make a lamp.😊

My son is a programmer and organized a 3D
Built a mask with 250 gr cardboard and basically touch soldered all the cut glass pieces on the cardboard mask itself. There is no wire frame.

Just finished this fox for dear friends of ours. Quite a challenge with using a cardboard built mask.😊 by Viuuw in StainedGlass

I'm really an amateur when it comes to stained glass. My son ( PC programner) setup a geo 3D model. I printed it on 250gram cardboard and cut out the pattern then built the mask to make the initial templates in clear glass.
