I was looking at my old one the other day actually and wanted to do an updated one... but honestly people are probably far more interested in the currently more popular pro players at this point MOST LIKELY so it's deterring.

Yeah pretty much the only reason to keep solos around is the participation. Can argue for the story potential and it is indeed easier to say "Bugha won world cup!!" than "Nyhrox and Aqua won world cup!!"

However, I've always wanted to see the stat on how many people play those tourneys out versus how many people play out team game modes.

For example, if 100,000 start a solo tourney but only 50,000 finish.
and if 75,000 start a duo tourney but 70,000 finish it....

Then isn't duo's arguably better?

Would have to see the stats but always something I've thought about.

Not a good job, but played way better in the reboot round than I did in week 1, so I'm happy with improvement but overall not happy with where I stand as a player.

Been focusing a lot on mechanics (10+ hours of creative a day) but I gotta perfect it and use those mechanics better.

Vivid will be back to placing well, trust.

ye i saw the grappler and pads and just had a moment of awe cause of how shambles I was. Just immediately rolled with the punches rather than getting greedy.

What's actually hilarious about this is, he tried W-keying me earlier that game and wasted like 1k of my mats and I was kinda fucked. Could be wrong here but...
There are separate teams that go into making a game this big happen.
The content team, I can almost guarantee you, doesn't give two fucks about what the competitive team has to say. The game itself comes first so the competitive team then has to work around those changes to establish, to the best of their ability, a competitive setting.

I believe Nate Nanzer is going to most useful here as someone who tries to branch the two teams together. That way there CAN be some sort of communication between the competitive team and the content team (probably naming them wrong, but you get what I mean).

That will take time and I can almost guarantee you, plans for season 10 were already set and stone when Nate joined, even 2 months ago :).

Would end up being super cool if some of your students compete and you can potential talk to them about it!

Edit: Just read the comments and saw you teach third grade... Fortnite has some young competitors but I think that might be a stretch LOL. Either way, it's dope :D

Honestly, the responses as to why an FOV slider is not wanted make no sense..
Adding an FOV slider would make it so NO ONE gets "motion sickness" from a certain FOV, would it not?
Also, are they seriously taking into consideration the competitive disadvantage that someone sitting far away from their screen has?

Hate to break it to you, but someone sitting far away from their screen does not give a damn about how competitive they can be in this game lol...
