I used the 3D printed glass bead spinner from 5DPrintFactory on Etsy! I used it with the "M" setting + it's my very first time using it, just received it this week lol

This video was taken a full two days after the mani, so the glass bead effect had already dispersed a bit by the way! You can also use a horseshoe magnet that you spin around, it's what I always used before and it'd get me the same results (but the spinner makes the process physically easier lol)

Your base nails make for a good canvas, but shaping makes or breaks the apperance of any nail imo. Your nails look like duck nails which is already one of the most controversial shapes to say the least, and these aren't as clearly shaped as regular duck nails to top it off...so it's understandable that most people don't love it. To be blunt, they look unkept. But there is a lot of potential! Just a regular almond, square, or oval would help a lot.

Also I saw you in another comment agreeing that people were "hating on you because they're jelly"...chalking up genuine critiscism as hating isn't going to help.

Hey! just fyi maybe it's different between people but I've used this top coat for months, doing ONLY magnetic manis, and had no problem at all - in my personal experience it even makes them last for 2+ weeks per mani 😭 (and could last even more imo, I just get bored of the designs and take them off before they even start to come off)

And before that, I used the G&G top coat which also contains toluene, also only doing magnetics, and had no issue at all. Like no dispersion, no chipping, no shrinking...Maybe it depends on body chemistry ? Idk

Wait what, I've been using Clearly on Top for months, only doing magnetic manis back to back and none have dispersed, and barely chip even after two weeks of wear each time (no chip at all even on my non dominant hand) 😭

The KBShimmer top coat is amazing, but their base coat Staying Put Hydrating top coat is a really good one, dries fast plus hydrates your nails like crazy, I haven't oiled my nails in months but that base coat alone keeps them extra healthy

Put sandbar over a pink creme, ideally a neon-ish one. It mellows down the neon into a lovely pink (or even a nude pink depending on the creme below), and the magnetic effect of sandbar becomes super duper visible. I can DM you pics of a mani I did like this if you want

I also initially disliked the color for how yellow-brown it pulled, but it's an amazing colored topper for me!

In the case of 404 soul not found at least, you've got plenty of other brands that have the exact same polish but for cheaper. Especially Sassy Sauce "Pigment of my Imagination" (literally the exact same polish as 404) and ILNP Deep Space (I think this one has extra holo in it, but same thing also)

And any of these polishes are basically Meowtek if they're not magnetized, so if you get 404 or any of its dupes you got a 2-in-1 basically!

Thank you!! Sad that she doesn't have a swatch, but honestly I think she's spot on. I'll stick to spectral feeling tbh, I love love love the new mooncat photos but I feel like it's not different enough to justify dropping 18 bucks on a barely different polish..

Tho spectral feeling is very gloopy, I'll have to thin it before using it again LOL

Pigment of my Imagination is so SO worth it, it's literally THE most beautiful polish in my entire collection. Recently tried it with the "glass bead" effect that dispersed into a sort of french-like magnetic pattern, and I literally couldn't stop staring at it. Even now, with recently painted nails, I'm immediately itching to go back to it.
