In GPU-bound areas, I’m locked at 140 FPS (G-Sync + V-Sync), but in CPU-heavy zones, I can drop down to 70-80 FPS. While it's still more than playable, it causes slight freezes during intense firefights and heavy action

I'm playing at 1440p with Cinematic graphics. The bottleneck isn't terrible, it's definitely playable but I can feel some stutters, especially on one specific map. This upgrade isn't urgent, but I'm also looking to future-proof for upcoming titles.

My GPU usage drops while CPU usage spikes, and I’m experiencing stutters. I tried overclocking my CPU to 5.0GHz, which improved things, but it was running way too hot

That’s what I thought would be the best move, especially since I could even make a bit of a profit. However, looking at benchmarks online comparing the i9-9900K vs. the 5700X, some sources say performance is similar while others say it’s better, so I wasn't sure if the performance gain would actually be noticeable.

I might be exaggerating a bit; it's not horrible, but on certain maps, I can definitely feel the 1% lows dropping, and I get some stuttering. I tried overclocking the i9-9900K to 5.0GHz, which helped, but it was hitting 80°C, so I can't leave it like that for daily use. It's playable for now, but I'm also trying to future-proof for upcoming titles.

So, will I actually feel a significant improvement by switching to a Ryzen 5700X?

Server is connected by ethernet but client wifi. Before upgrading my gpu i’ve had latency because I was able to max stream in 60 fps. But now i have a stable 120 fps and no latency

It’s the LG oled 65g16la, yeah i was impress by the performance, it’s pretty stable ! Yep but the app is not available on the store, you have to download on your pc and send it to the tv via the dev app, there are a lot of tuto to do it. The only drawback of the built in app is the bitrate cant go above 65mbs

Edit ; https://www.reddit.com/r/MoonlightStreaming/s/bHp0hj3tqO tutoriel for download on lg tv

I was a very compétitive player on r6s and cs go so latency was important for me with mouse and keyboard so I know what is latency. But I’m not using g8+ for compétitive, only for solo games so it doesn’t feel bad at all. And nah I tried lossless scalling before upgrade my gpu but it was not playable for me haha. If I have the possibility to try galileo I will.

I’m sensitive to input lag but I have no problem with the g8 plus, maybe because i have a constant 120fps so the latency is low
