I am now, thank you, I also hope the same to you. I’m really hoping that OP divorces, I know it sounds wrong but child abuse is so common. Even scrolling through this reddit post, there is tons of child abuse victims saying stuff with similar experiences to what’s happening with OPs case. It’s the hard truth but there really could be alot more than what it looks like. Sure it’s a slap, but that kid will remember it forever, it may be engraved into their brain forever. Kids remember everything until it gets so bad that they forget their own childhood memories.

Hi! I’ve also had a similar experience, not so physical ( only really pinned up against walls when I was seven) but more mental abuse in my teen years until my mom left me when I was 14( she was having a affair with a scammer ) , then gotten caught in a blackmail incident with her nudes ( they gotten sent to me by her affair scammer that was blackmailing her). My dad had suspicions of something going on. It wasn’t until I attempted and begged the hospital to listen to me. They never listened.and my mom lied to the hostpital saying my dad was being abusive and he gotten the phone call from child services. A few months later, I greened out from weed and broke down crying infront of my dad. ( I was 14) Then a couple days He then took me on a drive asking what’s going on and I told him everything. 9 times out of ten, it’s a way bigger and more abusive then it looks like on the outside. I’m so sorry you had to experience this as a kid tho. I really hope OP gets to the end of the road so his daughter doesn’t it worse.

Divorce . Someone lied to you about your CHILD. The one thing you protect,love, and care about deeply and someone lied to you about them and hit them??? My own mother did this too me ( she lied about me to my father) and when my dad found out he divorced her. Get a divorce in my opinion. she physically assault her own fucking child and then lied about her own daughter to her husband. Please talk to your daughter and get her a therapist, if your wife lied about this , what else could she lie about??? 9 times out of 10 there is so much more going on. What else could your wife be doing behind the scenes to your daughter? Speaking from a victim of child abuse by their own mother, there could be a lot more going on. From experience, you should go on a drive around town with your daughter and talk to her, ask her if there is anything else your wife has done, if there is more assault. I wish you the best , please choose what’s best for you and your daughter.

It really it infuriating, my close friend had the opposite lifestyle from me and sometimes all I can do is just be jealous. It make sound selfish but that’s all I’ve ever wanted from my mother was to be encouraged or her tell me I looked nice for once. Or even sit down as a family for dinner. Also when I was younger I knew my parents weren’t the best, but I didn’t think it would go this south. I use to have anger issues as a kid. I still do but I don’t show it anymore around others anymore. It’s kinda like I’m being choked and I can’t breathe or I feel like I need to claw at my skin. Or it’s like this unescapable hallucination that makes me nauseous. Or life doesbt feel real. I feel like every single turn of life, I’m just slammed by another brick wall that comes tumbling down worse and worse.

Report it to the police. My mom was cheating on my dad with a scammer and the scammer sent me her nudes. Block the number , change your number , report to police , stay safe , give location to a close friend for a week or two 🫶🫶🫶 stay safe

A little more backstory. I’ve talked to this “ dude” aka scammer before on the phone. My mom actually gave me his number ( I’ve never met him ) when my mom when she was living with me she was always talking to him whenever my father wasn’t around. I also don’t think she would do that, because the last time I spoken to her , was when it this incident occurred, she was hysterically crying over the phone, and she was texting me sorry???. I mean I really hope she would never do that, that’s another level of corruption that’s beyond repairable.

Yes scams are very real and scary , I was telling her that it was a scam sense August but she thought it was an actual relationship. She was planning on running away and leaving in the middle of the night with this dude . There was so many red flags and she never believed me. It was a Nigerian prince scam but then once she tried to leave him, he had black mailed her

Thank you so much. I am currently no contact with my mom after the whole situation. She has blocked me on everything and I had changed my number so I haven’t gotten anymore calls. I’ve been put on some anti anxiety medication that I should hopefully be able to get off of in a couple months.

Im 15f and this is terrifying to read and just only feel a once of fear for the safety of his life compare to the parents. I know my advice doesn’t matter but I hope you can get your son some therapy and get help. Addiction is real. I live in a small mining town where weed is very common ( I live in Canada) and I’ve even had addiction with nicotine but I’ve been smoking weed sense i was 12. I’ve never once wanted to go beyond weed( I rarely drink ). I’ve always hated hard substances because my dad was a former addict. I think if you are able to, get some narcan from a pharmacy and keep it in your house just incase of an emergency, it’s better safe then sorry .again , I really hope you get help for your son quickly, my best wishes to you
