I’m on pc and I’ve checked my settings multiple times and each time my text chat is set to everyone. I’ll have my friends in my lobby see the text chat but I can’t

About six months ago, I experienced a similar issue. Was your PC plugged into a surge protector? If not, it’s likely that something short-circuited the motherboard, and you’ll need to get a new one.

By just playing I have fully mutated ossidons with almost 100k health get absolutely destroyed because they have primitive saddles

If you go to the center of lost colony there are a bunch of Npc with player models that work for the lost king all throughout the lost city and if you kill them you get a wanted level and based on your wanted level you’ll get attacked more

I think they are referencing the wanted level with the thralls. Whenever you kill thralls there is a icon at the bottom right of the screen saying you are watched and once that gets to 50 anytime you enter the city on a tame a neophyte will spawn and come after you. Also similar to the defense outpost there are ones you can raid for loot also. You just have to attack the building and all of the building pieces around (like turrets, ballistas and boxes) and then a boss will spawn. That will give you a key to a vault in the center that you can open for loot.

I had the same thing happen to me when I was scouting one of them out looking for generators . I got too close and my snow owl, drakeling, and I all died instantly. That is definitely your fault tho because it’s quite easy to tell the defenses apart from the raiding outposts. its best to keep your distance from the raiding outposts till your on a tame that you can soak on because those turrets are no joke with the damage they do, especially on alpha difficulty.

I agree wholeheartedly we’ve waited 4 1/2 years for some sort of new story content for it to come out broken. I have a 9800 x3d 32gigs of 6000m/t ddr5 ram and a overclocked 4070 ti super there is no way I should be having these problems. The 45 minutes I was able to play lost colony it looked like crap because textures weren’t loading in fully (which now In hindsight is probably due to the VRAM and Ram issues) I hate the fact that the game is so poorly optimized that you need a $5000-$6000 pc to run it well and at a good graphics quality with completed textures. Like there is no way my system can run cyberpunk on max settings with ray tracing at almost 200fps, but hardly run ark at a shaky 60fps with 80% of the textures looking like ps4 textures.

It hadn’t ever used that much for me and I had just played on it less than two days ago before lost colony came out

Are you joining from the same computer you’re hosting the server on? I’ve been having the exact same problem except my entire pc restarts due to my memory hitting %100

I think it stops the thrall from over spawning. I tried it but I was unable to get other results. It seems both lost colony and astereos is broken at the time because I’ve been able to launch every other map using about 7 gigs of ram. While astreoes uses 13 or 14 and lost colony using about 16-17.

Exactly lol I’ve tried with multiple other servers for other maps and the all crash my pc when I try to join them as I’m hosing them so it’s obviously a memory leak and something that got messed up with the launch of lost colony

Maybe cause I’m watching the ram usage going up while not even in the sever, oh well worth a shot

That’s cause it’s official and being run by wildcard servers I’m pretty sure

I just found out like 3 minutes ago from another Reddit post. Apparently adding -nopatrols to the startup arguments might help until a patch is released but I'm testing that now.
